Connecticut State Park Journeys: Mount Tom

Mount Tom State Park is one of the oldest state parks! Like Haystack and Talcott Mountains, you get rewarded for your hiking venture to the top, a tower to oversee all.

My family and I climbed Mt. Tom on a Friday morning so there wasn’t really anyone else there. I can’t say how crowded it usually gets. I certainly got a bit claustrophobic climbing the tower! I won’t let that stop me 🙂

If you are making a list for autumn hikes, this is one to put towards the top of your list.
