This week’s Styles for Winter Into Spring edition highlights cargo pants. I’ve been searching for the right pair for myself and found them at Athleta (click here for link). They are pricey but I know I will wear them a lot the coming months, hence this blog post.
On my LTK page I’ve linked other cargo pants that are suitable at a lower price point, see that here. In this blog post I am sorting cargo pant styles based on the type of shoe to wear with them; sometimes you need to start at the bottom 🙂

With Sneakers
The picture above you’ve seen before, in a previous post, click here for link to that. These cargo pants and my knock off Converse go hand in hand; an easy combination with many tops and a jean jacket or vest over. I love tucked in shirts for cargo pants.

This was an all black outfit I wore for Wednesday Wednesday. In case you weren’t aware, I am using Wednesday Addams as my style guru for Wednesdays until further notice lol. I have on a tighter black v-neck top, also from Athleta, and my favorite Amazon puffer vest. Simple black Nike sneakers keep it comfortable and stay-at-home mom casual.
With Booties
I didn’t like my cargo pants with my ankle booties, but with these mules/wanna be booties; click here for link. They are under $35 and surprisingly go with a lot in my closet 🙂

With Flats
This is my least favorite shoe with cargo pants, but I wanted to give it a try. Dressing up the pants with flats and a blazer.

With Sandals
Obviously these styles are for when it’s over 60 F degrees, which can happen in New England as early as March but could take til May. IDK.
These are my favorite way to wear these cargo pants!
Next week I’ll be talking about trench coats!

[…] reminder, I’ve talked about hightop canvas sneakers, cargo pants, the balletcore trend, trench coats, wear with anything t-shirts and pencil skirts. […]
