This is certainly a must do in Connecticut! I’m sick of waiting for when the pandemic is over and I can tour the inside. My children and I visited summer 2020 so we weren’t able to go in. I had seen it from afar while on an autumn Essex Steam Train ride in 2019 and loved getting closer up!

There are lots of hiking trails, picnic spots and cool things to see. Mr. Gillette created a stunning piece of earth we now all have the opportunity to enjoy. I will certainly do an updated blog post after I get to see the interior of the castle. There are 24 rooms!
