It is so weird typing out “weekend in Disney” because I’ve never been to Disney for only a weekend, who does that?! This chick. This Mommy-and-Me trip will be short and sweet and hopefully epic for my 14-year-old.

Here’s a flat lay of my main packing items:
Top row, left to right: a polka dot black short sleeve dress. I’m a dress girl and usually wear them no matter the occasion. Next to the dress are my bike shorts I’ll be wearing underneath the dress. To me, that’s comfort 🙂 The straw bag is one I picked up at the Polynesian resort last trip; its adorable and I’ll likely just use it for the pool time.
My favorite hip sack/belt bag, whatever you want to call it. I used to wear my pin lanyard to Disney but it is heavy on my neck; instead I put some pins on my bags. I have a cozy pink Minnie ear headband I purchased at the park back in November that nicely matches my fanny pack. Also there is my Winnie the Pooh headband from 1953 Designs (use code Janice15 for 15% off).
The rust colored item is a Free People light cardigan I’ll wear over anything for the entire weekend. The evenings are suppose to be cooler.
Bottom row: white maxi skirt and Pooh t-shirt (also from 1953 Designs). I’m seeing Pooh at the Crystal Palace (he’s my fav!). The pink scarf/hair band is actually a Wizard of Oz print, totally not Disney, but it goes with everything. I’ll even sleep with my hair up in it. Black bikini is from Free People and the olive shorts have been a go-to for me for years (from Stitch Fix).
For shoes I’ll have a pair of flip flops for the pool and then my sneakers. That’s it! Simple there. I’m also tossing in a pair of jean shorts, my favorite old ones from Target, in case I don’t feel like the maxi skirt. The weather is suppose to be a comfortable in the 70’s but just in case it shoots up closer to 80 I’ll have a plan.
I’ll be flying in a pair of jeans; great to have for cooler nights too.
This is a packing list I made years ago, back when I had the Polyvore website to play around with, miss those days 😦
This is a good list for a five day trip, if you are looking for an extended type packing list and not a weirdo like me flying down for two days. Lol.
Let me know if you have any Disney packing questions!
