Why I Jumped On The Over-The-Knee Boot Train

I attempted the over-the-knee boot trend two years ago and hated it. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and not in a good way and quickly returned the boots. Now I think these type of boots have evolved in style, having different heights and shafts and improved comfort.

This year I am using my style as a pick-me-up for my mental health, and with the cooler weather coming I wanted a boot to keep in warmth, very practical, plus I think it looks cute.

Here are my current over-the-knee boot style ideas for skirts and dresses. I’ll add tights as it gets colder here in Connecticut. Be on the lookout for a future post with additional looks with jeans and leggings!
