The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public this weekend and I think it’s worth a look 🙂

I’ve been sharing over on my Like To Know It page (here) what I’ve tried on in store and what I ordered online. Many items I did love and lots I didn’t. I’m here to share both the good and the bad.

The Good:

I shared before that I loved my Julia Jordan dress from last year’s sale and I tried on a few. This one above was my favorite! Along with the Steve Madden booties, I had a perfect date night outfit for last Friday.

Grabbing some Zella items from the anniversary sale is always a must for me. This light weight hoodie immediately drew my attention and I do find their leggings to be among the best, even compared to ones twice the price.

This outfit above all came home with me. I compared Madewell, Levi and Kut From the Kloth jeans that all looked exactly the same. The Levi’s won. Loose jeans are my current fav.

I have a heavy Barefoot Dreams cardigan I live in during winter and picked up this lighter one for autumn. It’s amazingly soft! I had been looking for a simple white layering top and this one is perfect.

Of all the items I ordered online the only thing I kept is this white blouse. I’ve been searching for a Janice-Perfect white blouse for awhile now and found it! It’s loose, it’s soft, it’s carefree. Fabulous.

This sweater dress was cute and cozy!

The Bad:

I did find one bad Julia Jordan dress 😦 It took a long time to get on, which immediately is a no for me, but then this weird back tie and the neck tie were just a bad combination. Looks OK on once all is said and done but it was too much work. Lol.

This look on the left here was funny to me, a grandfather look in my opinion. Not what I’m going for! The blazer was completely oversized. The outfit on the right I’m not even linking to because it was just that bad. Don’t bother!

This is a side by side comparison of the cheaper BP booties and the Steve Madden ones. There wasn’t even a debate, the BP ones were terrible. Not even worth the sale price.
