First grade eyes never looked up from an engrossing book her growing mind soaked in.
She mastered the monkey bars during second grade recess.
Her third grade writings were creative masterpieces.
Fourth grade friends are now honorary children in our home.
She finishes fifth grade with maturity and long legs able to jump off the top step of the school bus. The spark of elementary school twinkles in her eyes a bit longer.
The years will keep coming and she will become who she is meant to be, but the foundations of elementary school will be the cradle holding that little girl forever.
