When the pandemic continued on last year I made a list of Connecticut must-do’s for me and the kids. Can’t go anywhere, might as well explore every corner of our little state. I checked off many in 2020 and we are continuing into this year. This weekend was the Saville Dam and Barkhamstead Reservoir. Since there isn’t much hiking involved I figured it was perfect for a cold day, easy in and out.
I imagine the dam looks magical surrounded by autumn leaves or in the snow. I’ll be returning!
