My Disney Outfits for 2024

I have been fortunate enough to have been to two Disney parks already this year! Wow! Almost was a third but I decided to save some money, :) I love how my Disney style has morphed over the years, going from wearing normal casual clothes to Disneyland to now, wearing ears and color coordinating with them, matching the family, etc. Just have fun with it I say! Here are the outfits I wore to Disney this year.

Paris

I’ll start by saying it was very cold in Paris in April! Unusual for me to be at a Disney park when it’s only 40 F out.

I wore jeans and a sweatshirt the first evening there, winter hat and all. Nothing exciting. The second day I went all out with the pink because I wanted to match the Disneyland Hotel Paris (I’m corny, I know this). I did have leggings on underneath the skirt and mostly wore a denim jacket over my outfit that day. Once the sun went down I had on a scarf and hat as well.

Disneyland Hotel Paris
I purchased new ears in Paris! They have the castle and Eiffel Tower on them; fell in love when I saw them! (click here for style links)

The last day there I wore my red polka dot skirt from Amazon, with leggings under and many layers over the top! So cold. (click here to see those links) This is literally the only photo I have of that outfit:

Disney World

Now onto the complete opposite, a hot and humid Orlando in May! Wowza, it was a doozy over Memorial Day weekend. I traveled with cooling towels and a hand fan. They were both much needed. For only being in the parks for two whole days, I had many outfits! I wore an outfit in the morning, went back to the hotel to swim, changed into a different outfit for going back to the park for the last part of the day. It was that sticky out!

This was my favorite outfit below. I bought a small Pascal stuffed animal in Paris and knew it would match my bright green Minnie ears perfectly. I added a purple skort to give the outfit a Tangled theme. Of course I had to get a picture by the Tangled restrooms at Magic Kingdom. :)

These Dr. Scholl’s Time Out sneakers were the ones I wore the most in Paris and Orlando. They are so comfortable! I was surprised back in April that these sneakers were the ones I wanted to put on every day. They have held up! I even wore them all over San Diego this July too. Great travel shoe! You can find them here at Zappos.

My best tips for picking out what to wear to Disney are to, 1. have layers to put on and take off, especially with unpredictable weather, 2. bring the fun ears and accessories, 3. always wear sneakers, 4. pack extra socks in your backpack (if it rains you’ll thank me), and 5. if your kid wants to get matching shirts do it and do it fast! My daughter asked me and I was floored and excited to find Stitch t-shirts we both loved.

I was surprised how much I cooled off once my shoulders were covered in the t-shirt; learned my lesson, in the high heat keep the shoulders covered!
