Three Ways to Wear Cropped Jeans for Fall

I think a lot of fall denim styles this year (2023 for future reference!) revolve around wider or straight leg, but cropped jeans can still be a staple for your fall wardrobe. My love of shorter boots and booties work well with this style jean, allowing for more versatility for autumn styles with that type of boot. Here are three ways I’m wearing cropped jeans for fall.

A Warmer Casual Autumn Day

For a warmer day a sandal is a great choice with cropped jeans. For reference, I’m 5’3, and I like the crop to be the length below. A thong or flip flop sandal is my preference because I want there to be a decent amount of skin showing. One reason I don’t like sneakers with this style of cropped denim, a small amount of skin shows and looks funny.

A Cooler Work From Home Autumn Day

Lug sole boots are a perfect combination with cropped denim! My combination of boot and jean show a tiny bit of skin when I move my leg around, but it’s not bothersome. This H&M blouse has been an autumn staple this year. I have it buttoned all the way up here, for a business look, but a bit of a casual touch with the front tie. It’s a great piece to tuck in completely or even leave out with wide leg pants or leggings.

A Cooler Casual Autumn Day

A cozy sweater and some short western boots for an autumn day of running around. Great outfit for apple picking or heading to the pumpkin patch. Depending on the weather, long sleeves, a blouse, a turtleneck or even tank top, make this flexible outfit.
