Early spring I talked a bit about style recipes and a base wardrobe (see here). As we are in the midst of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, a great time to get yourself a nice black blazer, I thought I’d share some style recipes for using a black blazer in your base wardrobe every season. It’s a great piece to have.

I bought mine at the sale a couple years ago, it’s Chelsea 28 brand, very similar to this Halogen blazer icon. Here are some great ones in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale: blazers in the sale icon.

Summer date night look, blazer for cooler evenings~

Blouse from Amazon, jean shorts from Target, sandals from a shop in Positano Italy 😉

Autumn and spring looks, layers depending on the day and temperatures ~

Gibsonlook fleece top icon top, Paige Cindy icon jeans, Steve Madden icon mules
Treasure & Bond hat, Julia Jordan dress, Jeffrey Campbell boots (Similar icon)

A look from this past winter, many layers! ~

Hat and Mickey sweatshirt from Target, heart blouse from ModCloth, jeans from Stitch Fix, lug sole boots are Lucky Brand from Stitch Fix
