I started writing this blog post almost a year ago and am finally ready to share it with you. Sometimes life gets in the way and then the seasons change and drafts get lost in the pile. Do you have a pile? I have one electronically and physically on my kitchen counter. Anyway, back to this white dress! A white dress is like a style blank slate, contrasting against any color you’d like to wear it with. My dress is by English Factory and I have been wearing it most seasons and wanted to share the styles of the seasons of a white dress.

Autumn
This particular white dress has versatility. I like that it has a bit of a sleeve. Sleeveless makes it not necessarily work for cooler days and long sleeves don’t work on warmer days. The dress length hitting someone in the thigh area is preferable for me because it helps the dress work with my thigh-high boots. A longer dress is more suitable for knee high or shorter boots only.
I added a cropped denim jacket here and wore this outfit comfortably for an entire autumn day.
Added a shacket and tie-up boots for an edgy look:
Spring and Summer
During spring I wore this dress with short western boots to walk around some flower fields.

Obviously in warmer weather the dress doesn’t need any layers. I had a jean jacket with me here below for a date night because I’m always cold inside restaurants. The booties made the outfit look a bit nicer for a date night, compared to flat sandals I would have had on earlier in the day.

I honestly cannot remember where I bought this dress from! I did find the same one and some similar ones and they are linked here. Hope this post inspired you to continue to wear white after Labor Day and how a white dress can be a wardrobe staple.
Happy October!
