How about we focus on what we have control over at this moment and talk about the clothes you put on your body. We all have to wear clothes (well, after the Grammy’s, that’s questionable), might as well wear what makes you feel cute for you. Spring and autumn trends are always the ones I look forward to the most and this year is no exception. Here are my spring trends for 2025.

Out: Jeans, In: Trousers
I’m a forever lover of denim, but this spring I’m not feeling them. As in, not at all. Shocker to me. While I will still wear my jeans, my wide leg ones, I’m mostly not going to be. Instead I will be in all sorts of other pants, wide leg trousers, boxer styles and even capris (don’t hate on me!). I’m a fan of Anthro’s Collette pants and Nordstrom brand Wit & Wisdom equivalents (these are my new ones).
I love the comfort of trousers over jeans and I always feel a bit more pulled together. Let’s talk leggings a minute, we all love them. I’m planning on keeping my for exercise and probably while flying.
Out: Fancy Shoes, In: Boat Shoes
Embracing the Nantucket aesthetic is a key for spring trends in 2025. Bring on more comfortable shoes! Boat shoes are in all the stores, as well as a variety of low profile brown shoes. Last fall I purchased leopard fashion sneakers and they will nicely rotate to this spring. Brown is the new staple color that works well with lots of colors and styles.
Out: Boxy Styles, In: Hourglass Styles
I’m seeing lots of silhouettes that define the waistline. Blazers, vests when it’s warmer, are giving shape to the upper waistline. Many of the styles also have a split hem at the bottom as well. You can save money by using a belt you already own and making your own waistline over your blazer or vest. Enhance those curves!
Micro Trends
Some smaller trends are popping up; I like to call them micro trends. For tops, larger collars (like here) and square neck lines (like here). Embroidery, crochet and lace styles continue to be popular.
I posted on LTK about the boxer trend (see here), goes along with the boxer pant trend seen above in my section about trousers. I like the boxer trend as a swimsuit coverup option. This time of year we always see a lot of florals (groundbreaking!) but I’ve been more into food prints the last couple of years (see here).
That is my roundup of spring styles for 2025! Which styles are you loving?
